Asteroid Size Distribution

The differential size distribution of Main Belt asteroids normalized by its value for D=10 km. The solid and dashed lines for analytic estimates, and error bars for nonparametric estimates, are for red (rocky) and blue (carbonaceous) asteroids respectively. The dot-dashed lines are added to guide the eye and correspond to power-law size distributions with indices 4 and 2.3.
